Are you a student who is also a high-performing athlete, artist, elected representative, disabled or chronically ill? Whatever your needs, the University of Bordeaux will support you in order to give you the best chance possible and helping you with your study plan.

Support according to your needs

  • Help with communication (French sign language interpreting, predictive coding (LPC), simultaneous written transcription)
  • Provision of course content (help with note taking)
  • Pedagogical support (course adaptation, teaching support, tutor)
  • Technical and accessibility assistance (locating venues, equipment loan)
  • Exam adjustments (extra time, scribes, material adaptation, postponed exams in cases of justified absence)
  • Study adjustments, changes to timetable
  • Deferred exam seasons (high-level athletes)

  • Make an appointment as soon as possible with PHASE service support officer on your campus
  • Creation of an individual file
  • Personalised analysis of constraints and needs
  • Drawing up of an adapted support plan, which can be revised throughout the year
  • Support and follow-up throughout the course
