Supported by the culture team and all the players in university life, these festivals punctuate the year, because there is more to your life as a student than just your studies.

"Fête la rentrée" (Back-to-school celebrations)

At the University of Bordeaux, there is obviously study, but also an intense campus life. Discover it in September during this week of festivities, with creations prepared especially for you.

FACTS, arts and sciences festival

Science is alive, creative and poetic. The University of Bordeaux offers a different way of looking at it, through works produced by artists in residence in research laboratories in Bordeaux.
The aim of this festival is to explore and experiment with the different facets of the relationship between the arts and sciences. It highlights science in music, painting and sculpture and brings it to life on stage and outside the walls.

Curious visit

The Curious Visit invites you to discover the most striking or unusual places on the campuses of the University of Bordeaux.

It has given rise to an original digital creation that allows you to visit the university with an artistic eye while (re)discovering the works of art and heritage that surround us.

COLLABORATIONS

Develop partnerships with local actors to bring all forms of artistic expression to life inside and outside the university walls.

"Murs pour l'art"

In partnership with the art library "les arts au mur", contemporary art is exhibited in the university libraries. The art library's mediators offer moments of exchange around the exhibitions during the highlights of campus life.

For each exhibition, students are invited to choose the theme of the works they would like to see displayed on the walls of the university library!

"Dansitude"

Dansitude is a project of sensitization to the contemporary dance carried by the cultural service of the university of Bordeaux, in the form of spectacles and workshops of the spectator, in partnership with La manufacture CDCN Nouvelle Aquitaine.

Tickets for the shows are reserved for the university community: to take advantage of them, subscribe to the culture newsletter. 

"The Campulsations"

This festival is organized by the Crous in partnership with the University of Bordeaux, local authorities, cultural structures and associations. Its objective is to diversify the cultural offer for students in their living areas and to allow them to better identify the cultural venues on campus and in the Bordeaux area.

Street art on campus

Throughout the year, street art projects and works of art are created on campus.
In partnership with Muralis Art Urbain in Dax for the Thermalism Institute and Shake Well and the student associations for the Bordeaux campuses.

MEB, a museum at the university

The Museum of Ethnography of the University of Bordeaux (MEB) offers unique collections of objects from the non-European world, collected at the end of the 19th century and bearing witness to historical and cultural specificities that are no longer valid.

The MEB also offers temporary exhibitions aimed at the restitution of transdisciplinary scientific programs or thematic presentations of its collections.
