If you love a challenge, join one of the many university sports teams.
To participate, contact your campus athletic office.
For higher-level athletes, the University of Bordeaux sporting organization (ASUBx) brings together the best student athletes into the same team for national and international university competitions.
The sports license is mandatory for any participation in an academic, French or European championship. It costs 10 euros and can be obtained from your Collège sports association
Good, very good and high level athletes
You no longer have to choose between your studies and your passion. You can access a scheme which gives you the chance to complete a dual sporting and academic project, if you are:

High level athletes registered on ministerial lists in the Elite, Senior, Relève and Reconversion categories or similar athletes (Espoir list, National Collective list; athletes registered in a federal performance program (PPF); athletes from training centers of professional clubs and professional athletes with an employment contract; high level judges, referees and trainers)

Good and very good level athletes with a level corresponding to the criteria set up by the University of Bordeaux.
