SUPERVISED Training

At the University of Bordeaux, you can practice more than 50 physical and sporting activities supervised by a physical and sports education coach. They can be graded as part of your course or ungraded if practiced as a leisure activity.

Enrolment

  1. Consult the sports offer and pre-register at the beginning of the school year
  2. Confirm your registration with the PE teacher during the first class of the chosen activity
  3. Practice on a regular basis!

For a small fee you can have access to different lessons and outings organized by PE coaches from each different sporting department. Activities available include surfing, mountain biking (VTT), kite buggying and kite surfing, diving, dance, skiing, snowboarding...

UNsupervised practice

Some of the university sporting facilities have open access for practice, depending on timetables and availability.

Racket sports

Tennis: access to outdoor courts
Squash: access to courts – 2nd semester
Price: 25 euros per year

Bodybuilding pass

Access to the weights room in Rocquencourt and Monadey
Price: 50 euros per year

SPORTS FACILITIES

With 28 hectares of playing field, the University of Bordeaux has one of the largest sports campuses in Europe.

The university's infrastructures are spread over two geographical sites: the Rocquencourt campus and the Monadey campus
Many facilities have recently been completely renovated:

  • synthetic rugby fields
  • synthetic soccer fields
  • crosstraining area
  • sports hall and weight room

Some of these facilities are available for unsupervised practice.
